Breaking: Fatality Accident in Hutchins

HUTCHINS - On  Thursday, Sept. 8 at 2:30 a.m., a Hutchins Police Officer
attempted to stop a motorcyclist for a traffic violation on Highway I-20
westbound.
When the officer activated his emergency equipment the motorcyclist accelerated
and continued westbound at a high rate of speed. The motorcyclist struck the
rear of a tractor trailer and was killed.
The accident investigation, by the Dallas Sheriffs office, is currently
on-going. The Hutchins Police Department is conducting an internal investigation
into the incident.
