Both north and southbound exits to PGBT will be closed for three nights from September 6 through September 8. The overnight closures will begin at 7 p.m. and will re-open each morning by 5 a.m. and will require both exit lanes to be closed while this work is performed. TxDOT’s goal is to minimize the impact of these operations on area motorists and schedules the work to occur in the lowest volume traffic times. Motorists will be directed to exit at Esters and follow the appropriate detour signage in place. Message boards have also been placed in the area notifying area motorists of the upcoming closures. TxDOT would like to apologize in advance for any inconvenience, and thank area drivers and businesses for their patience and cooperation as crews work diligently to complete this maintenance project as safely and as soon as possible.
