Waxahachie City Officials Gathered in the morning sun for the groundbreaking
ceremony of the new fire station Wednesday, July 6 at the intersection of
Cleaver and Emanuel Streets. The bid, was awarded Monday, May 2 to the Corbet
Group, was for the amount of $3,083,000 and according to City Manager Paul
Stevens, the construction will be complete in 298 days. Inset : Picture of
