NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
ELLIS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Ellis County Commissioners
Court will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the
Commissioners Courtroom, in the historic Ellis County Courthouse, 101 West Main
Street (2nd Floor), Waxahachie, Texas at which time the following item will be
discussed:
Presentation by Ellis County’s Redistricting Consultant, Michael Morrison, to
the members of the Ellis County Citizens Advisory Committee regarding Model
Plans 3 & 7.  Mr. Morrison will moderate a discussion by the Citizens Advisory
Committee of Model Plans 3 & 7 which will be utilized for the purposes of
redistricting Ellis County’s commissioner precincts.  The Citizens Advisory
Committee is expected to make a recommendation to the Ellis County Commissioners
Court regarding its preferred Model Plan.
The Ellis County Citizens Advisory Committee Members are:
Rudy Amor, Sandy Anderson, Bob Beakley, Linda Dunn, Jane Hamilton, Tony Medina,
Paul Perry, Richard Reno, Brenda L. Sexton, John Tabor, and Diane Threadgill
From 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., there will be a public discussion of Model Plans 3
& 7, which will be utilized for the purposes of redistricting Ellis County’s
commissioner precincts, and response to public comment regarding these Plans.
