Waxahachie – On Sunday, May 22, at approximately 2:03 p.m. Ellis County
Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 600 block of Central High Road in
the Ennis area regarding a deceased person. Deputies arrived and observed a
deceased female lying face down in a creek.
The female had no identification on her person.
The female was pronounced deceased by Justice of the Peace Bill Woody and was
transported to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
That examination revealed head injury and drowning as factors contributing to
her death. The Sheriff’s Office, working with the Ennis Police Department,
were able to identify the woman as Connie Jimenez, a 38-year-old female from
Ennis.
Investigators are working to determine Jimenez’s movements over the days prior
