The Ellis County Press: Dedication of Craig Shaw Memorial Parkway Dedication of Craig Shaw Memorial Parkway ================================================================================ Alicia Oyedele on 02/18/2011 14:49:00 Lancaster, Texas – On Saturday, Feb. 19, at 12 Noon the City of Lancaster will dedicate the Craig Shaw Memorial Parkway in honor of fallen Officer Craig Shaw. Officer Craig Shaw was the first officer in Lancaster history killed in the line of duty on Sunday, June 20, 2010. Officer Shaw served the City of Lancaster for five years and is survived by his wife, two children, parents, and extended family. This observance and the dedication of the drive at the entrance of the Public Safety Building will honor his memory and years of faithful service to the City of Lancaster and its citizens. He was a dedicated officer and public servant and his memory remains present in the minds and hearts of City of Lancaster staff and citizens. Craig Shaw Memorial Parkway is the drive located in front of the Lancaster Public Safety Building.
