DALLAS - Dallas Morning News reported a 26-yar-old man from Waxahachie was
fatally shot at a central Oak Cliff gas station early Friday, Feb.4.
Victor Morales was shot multiple times around 2 a.m. on the 2200 block of South
Zang Boulevard near Illinois Avenue.
According to reports, authorities have said an employee at the convenience store
heard gunshots, looked outside and saw Morales lying on the ground.
Police are guessing Morales may have been a laborer but, it’s unknown why he
was in Dallas and if someone he knew is the suspect.
Detectives are attributing cold weather and snowy conditions hampering their
investigation.
Police have no leads at this time and nobody was seen fleeing from the area.
