DESOTO- Two DeSoto High School students earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition
of their exceptional achievement on AP Exams. The College Board’s AP Program
provides prepared students the opportunity to take rigorous college-level
courses while still in high school and to earn college credit for successful
performance on the AP Exams. About 18 percent of the more than 18 million
students worldwide who took AP Exams performed high enough to earn AP Scholar
Awards. DeSoto ISD is very proud of both young ladies and their many
accomplishments.
*Congratulations to Candra Hepburn, Class of 2010, for earning an AP Scholar
award.
She scored a 3 or higher (out of 4) on three or more AP Exams. 	*Congratulations
to DHS senior Brianne Rodgers for earning an AP Scholar with Honors award. She
averaged at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on four
or more exams!
