DESOTO— Do you know a veteran or have a family member currently serving on
active duty?
The DeSoto ISD JROTC program is organizing the annual veteran’s ceremony and
is seeking all past and present service members, including Reserves and National
Guardsman, to attend and be honored.
The ceremony will include a presentation of veterans by military branch, JROTC
drill exhibition and guest speaker, USAF Major Matt Daniel, a proud DeSoto
native and current Program Director of Air Combat Command at Langley Air Force
Base in Virginia.
The event will take place Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 9:30 a.m. in the Fred Nickles
Auditorium, DeSoto High School, 600 Eagle Drive. A reception will be held at 9
a.m. for veterans, prior to the ceremony.

have your family member, friend or neighbor included in the ceremony.
