The Great Pumpkin Race is coming to town

FERRIS- Sponsored by the Ferris Downtown Association, The Great Pumpkin Race 5K
Run/ Walk will be held on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 8 a.m.
To register, you must fill out and complete a registration form, available at
city hall, Pueblito’s or The Ellis County Press, with a check or money order
payable to the Ferris Downtown Association and mail your registration fee, along
with the form with your shirt size to Pueblito Meat Market, 507 S. Main, Ferris,
TX 75125.
Registration is $20 now through Oct. 23, $25 Oct. 24-29 and $30 on the day of
the race with registration beginning at 7 a.m. with proceeds benefiting the
Ferris Community Center.
There are awards and prizes available for the youngest ( 1 year) to the oldest
(70+) at heart.
In addition, there will be a $100 grand prize for overall male and female
winners.
Packet pick-up will be held at race location, Pueblito’s Meat Market, on Oct.
28 and 29 as well as race day.
