NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Hutc-hins Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing in
the City Hall Council Chamber located at 321 N. Main Street in Hutchins, Texas
on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. This hearing is being held to consider
a request by Republic Waste Services of Texas, LTD. on behalf of J.P.
Transmission Salvage, Inc. for a change in zoning of 7.0516 acres of land more
or less situated in the T. Freeman survey, Abstract No. 453 and the William
Gatlin Survey, Abstract No. 499 situated in the City of Hutchins, Dallas
Cou-nty, Texas; said tract being all of the 7.051 acre tract conveyed to GSX
Corporation of Texas by warranty deed recorded in Volume 95176, Page 3798, Deed
Records Dallas County, Texas and being physically described as 1210-1220 Dowdy
Ferry Road in Hutchins, Texas.
Present Zoning
- (LI) Light Industrial District
Proposed Zoning -
(LI) Light Industrial District with a Specific Use Permit for
Non-Ferrous Recycling Furnace
Should the Commission recommend approval; the Hutchins City Council will
consider the recommendation of the Planning & Zoning Commission on the above
request at a regular meeting on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. in the
Hutchins City Hall Council Chamber.
