INVITATION TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received by the CITY OF FERRIS for the construction of the
FM 660 UTILITY RELOCATION at the office of the CITY OF FERRIS whose address is
100 TOWN PLAZA FERRIS, TEXAS 75125 until MARCH 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. and then
publicly opened and read aloud.
Project will include, but not limited to the following:
* 60 l.f. of 6-inch sanitary sewer line (0 - 6 feet deep)
* 60 l.f. of 6-inch sanitary sewer line (8 - 10 feet deep)
* 60 l.f. of 6-inch sanitary sewer line (10 - 12 feet deep)
Bid Security, Performance and Payment Bonds shall be as set forth in the
INSTRUCTIONS FOR BIDDERS.
Plans, Specifications and Bidding Documents may be obtained from the office of
the Engineer:
VELVIN & WEEKS CONSULTING ENGINEERS, INC.
930 East Corsicana Street
P. O. Box 1007
Athens, Texas 75751
for a fee of $100.00 per set (non-refundable).
The CITY OF FERRIS reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any
formalities.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual bid opening date.
