Request for Proposal
The Ferris Independent School District is accepting competitive proposals for
the purchase of Student/Co-Curricular Liability Insurance for a one year and/or
multi-year rate option beginning August 1, 2008. Multi-year quotes are preferred
if proposal is acceptable and in the best interest of the Ferris Independent
School District. Agents should be very specific concerning multi-year quotes.
Competitive proposals will be received up until 10:00 A.M., July 8, 2008, at the
Ferris ISD Administration Building, 303 E. Fifth St., Ferris, Texas 75125.
Address proposals to the attention of Ron Smith, Assistant Superintendent for
Business. Fax proposals may also be accepted up until 10:00 A.M., July 8, 2008.
Specifications may be obtained at the above address or by contacting Ron Smith
or Brenda Rodriquez at (972)544-3858 between the hours of 7:30 A.M. to 4:30
P.M., Monday through Thursday. The Ferris Independent School District reserves
the right to reject any or all proposals, to negotiate with any providers as
deemed necessary and advisable; to waive any and all technicalities; and to
accept the proposal most advantageous to the District. Any exceptions to
coverage requested in the specifications should be clearly explained in writing.
Failure to meet all specified conditions may invalidate a proposal. Proposals
must be clearly marked on the envelope: "STUDENT/CO-CURRICULAR LIABILITY
INSURANCE PROPOSAL."
