INVITATION TO CONTRACTORS
SEALED Proposals will be received by the Ferris Independent School District
Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Administrative Board Room,
Administration Building, and then and there opened and read aloud for the
furnishing of certain construction TRADE AND SUPPPLY items necessary for the
construction of the HIGH SCHOOL STADIUM PROJECTS, Ferris, Texas. NOTE: This
project is Owner –Contractor trade and supply items only.
Proposals for the following include labor, material, equipment complete trade in
strict accordance with PROPOSAL DOCUMENTS – INSTRUCTION TO CONTRACTORS.
Includes: Site Preparation, Earthwork, Termite Control, Drilled Piers, Concrete
Walks, Masonry, Pre-Engineered Metal Building, Metal Roofing, Insulation, Hollow
Metal Doors and Frames, Hardware, Painting, Accessories, HVAC System, Plumbing
System, Electrical System, and all other items contained in the Contract
Documents (Plans and Specifications).
ONLY SEALED PROPOSALS prepared in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO
CONTRACTORS will be considered. Combination proposals may be considered
advantageous to Owner. NO BID SECURITY BOND REQUIRED. Performance and payment
bonds will be required as per State Law. Owner reserves the right to reject any
and all proposals and to waive irregularity in the proposals and the proposal
procedures.
Qualified contractors may obtain proposal instructions and documents from the
Project Manager. A deposit of $100.00 per set is required and will be refunded
upon return of documents in good condition within 10 days of proposal opening.
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the Office of the Owner, Architect, AGC
plan rooms and F.W. Dodge plan rooms in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Austin. Project
is also available on Dodge Scan.
