The Ellis County Press: Pick up your cross and follow me Pick up your cross and follow me ================================================================================ Editor on 11/20/2008 12:23:00 Holly T. Cox Do you allow yourself to be consumed by the daily life of being a woman? Why? Once you make your list of your "crosses" to bear, we can move forward with a plan, purpose and we shall run this race the way God tells us to run, that is "to win!" (I Cor. 9:24). So today, know that you are a vessel for the use of the Almighty God, because He has chosen you before the foundation of the world and has a plan and a purpose for your life and He needs you healthy enough to complete the task. Now, grab two cans of veggies out of the cabinet and start: 1. Arms at sides lift cans up to shoulders 16 times (bicep curls) 2. Hands at shoulders lift cans over head, 16 times (shoulder press) 3. Arms at sides- lift out to sides to make "T," 16 times (extensions) Repeat three times. Now lie on the ground, knees bent, staring at the ceiling (not the wall in front) and do as many sit ups/crunches as you can for one minute. Go for a brisk walk for 15 minutes. Do that everyday until we meet again!
