The case in which we beat CPS in the termination trial (Dec. 18 issue; _Jurors
deliver blow to CPS case_) you should have heard the uproar by "the group" that
is CPS and the _ad litems_ that seem to always be on almost every case.
They basically wanted the judge [Court at Law No. 1 Greg Wilhelm] to rule
against the verdict, ignoring what a jury had decided after spending almost a
month of their life listening to everything CPS could throw at my client.
They have become more about winning and "being right" than they have about
helping families and respecting jury verdicts.
Everything they wanted after they lost went against their (CPS's) mission
statement.
They, CPS, have become this unit that works like a mob, they all get on board as
early as 14 days into a case and then mob together to build a case rather than
look for the truth.
It is about winning for them and that was never the intention of the
organization.
I am glad they are now aware they are not immune to a courageous jury that can
see through it all and rule against them.
