The long train of abuses we have faced continues, and appears to be picking up speed again. On Jan. 11, President Obama signed an Executive Order establishing the "Council of Governors" to strengthen the partnership between the Federal government and state governments to protect our Nation against all types of hazards. The 10 governors selected on a bi-partisan basis will work with the Secretary of Defense, Homeland Security, U.S. Northern Command, Coast Guard, National Guard, etc. Posse Comitatus bars the military from domestic police powers, but this doesn’t sound like they are preparing for freedom and liberty.

This is not new. In May 2007, President Bush sparked much alarm by openly declaring himself to be a dictator in the event of a national emergency. On Feb. 14, 2008, the United States and Canada entered into a military agreement allowing troops to operate in each other’s country. President Bush had created NORTHCOM back in 2002.

Why do we need an entire Army division tasked to support homeland defense and support civil authorities? Yes folks, the executive orders for this are in place and even congressmen are not allowed to see what the White House plans are in case of such emergency.

The Constitution says state problems should be handled by the states’ militia which we don’t but should have. The National Guard is not the state militia as outlined under the constitution. All of these actions are an outright infringement of state’s rights.

Will our governor be the one preparing the way for the federal fox to get in our "freedom house" and steal the few freedoms we have left (another reason to NOT elect Perry or Hutchinson) or will you go along with the lobotomized American slugs on this order and even get naked to be safe. Polls showing that many Americans think airport body scans will make us more secure scare me more than any terrorist. Oh well, Obama’s plan is endorsed by the American Association for Nude Recreation, and the TSA (the peeping Toms with their "dream job," promise your family pictures will not be saved electronically. Believe that, and you are ready for slavery. Besides, you probably will also ignore the health risks of the x-rays since you already drink the fluoridated tap water and diet soda. Fluoride worked for Hitler and Stalin. Now it’s working for the CFR.

On Nov. 11, 2009, delegates from 48 states gathered in Illinois for the Continental Congress 2009. This is the brainchild of Robert Schulz, President of the "We The People" Foundation. He wanted to give the TEA Party people some specific goals. I agree this is needed. The Tea Parties, 9-12 Groups, etc. are lost and need the right direction which they don’t and won’t get from Glenn Beck and the neo-cons. If you have not read "The Creature from Jekyll Island" by G. Edward Griffin and "The 5,000 Year Leap" by W. Cleon Skousen, do so now.

With that background, then go to www.cc 2009.us and read the 54 page report I just finished reading. It is a plan with a to-do list that would probably restore the Republic and get our Constitution back if carried out. Libertarian and Constitution Party friends of mine were among the delegates. It may not be perfect and it won’t be easy, but it is the best structured plan I’ve seen to date with many small steps we can take to toward success at the local, state and federal levels.

If you would like to learn more about how to take our Republic back, join the best informed group in Ellis County, the Constitution Party this Saturday, Jan. 30 at 8 a.m. for their Breakfast Meeting on the Square in Waxahachie – 1879 Chisholm Grill, 111 S. College Street. An email to: ecconstitutionparty.org would help the restaurant plan. I’ll be there.
