A constitutional republic needs citizens with a good general education in order to survive, but we should not be happy about our children going back to public school.

As a former educator, I have watched the schools disintegrate into little more than state indoctrination centers.

Too many of our children are becoming "..ugly, rude, lying and half-truth accepting people who refuse to study the facts, but instead babble off televised propaganda as personal moral codes.

This ignorance is destroying our nation and allowing global political structures and corporation profits to walk off with every single one of our Constitutional freedoms." - Nancy Levant on www.newswithviews.com.

It wasn’t always this way.

In 1831, the Frenchman Alexis de Tocqueville on a visit wrote, "the American people will appear to be the most enlightened in the world…he is taught moreover, the doctrines and the evidences of his religion, the history of his country, and the leading features of its Constitution."

Many people today would be lost if you asked them anything harder than "Who is the president?"

Jay Leno makes his living pointing out how stupid people are.

We laugh.

Schools and Tel-A-Vision have ruined us.

How did this all happen?

One major problem was John Dewey of Teachers College, Columbia University.

This most influential man in the history of American education denied God, held to the Marxist concept that since man’s environment is constantly changing, it is a waste of time to teach the absolutes of morals, government or ethics.

Our schools teach class hatred, anti-free enterprise, internationalism.

They do not teach how to read, write and think. "No Child Left Behind" really means "No Child Gets Ahead."

The traitors deceive us.

Never trust your government. Never trust a public school. Watch them.

There is no such thing as a good public school today.

Why do we put up with an unconstitutional U.S. Department of Education and Socialism being taught in our schools?

It’s time to wake up and elect a constitutional Congress.

Don’t fail our children.
