I want to thank all the citizens who attended the Midlothian City Council meeting Tuesday 11/25/08.

For those of you who waited outside, I will apologize.

The city won’t!

The voting majority of this council went out of their way to inconvenience the public.

This past week the legal occupancy of city hall was reduced by some 30 percent.

For the past three years that room seated 140 11/25/08 101.

In those past years the banquet tables in the rear provided seating for city employees who occasionally spoke loud enough that the council business could not be heard.

Tonight the police removed citizens from the audience for outbursts.

Welcome to this city.

To quote a city servant, "you can always move."
