Obamas thugocracy

I read a piece recently by Michael Barone that predicted should Barack Obama be elected president (a happening which would be dismal for the future of our republic) be prepared for what he termed a "thugocracy."

I certainly believed the term fitting to the attitude and way of thinking of this campaign.

It appears the Barack Obama campaign, fresh off of attempting to silence reporters looking into his association with unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers, has broadened its reach.

Obama’s thugs are attempting to get a series of NRA ads off the air by threatening to pull the broadcast licenses of stations that air them.

If you are foolish enough to think resurrection of the "fairness doctrine" is not imminent, think again.

Liberals hate for citizens to hear views that differ from theirs.

Recently, a St. Louis TV station reported Obama’s people have assembled a group of government prosecutors and sheriffs to act as a "truth squad" to act against any false statements made about candidate Obama.

One prosecutor even strongly suggested any false statements could put someone in jeopardy of violating the state’s ethics laws.

When a few unruly supporters of McCain-Palin vent their anger at campaign rallies, it makes national headlines.

The mass media calls it "Weimar-like rage," "a violent escalation of rhetoric," or, according to the Washington Post’s left-wing pundit, E. J. Dionne, a "re-emergence of the far right as a power in American politics."

Unfortunately, the vile and unconscionable behavior of Obama supporters never seems to see the light of day.

When some McCain supporters marched on the Upper West Side of Manhattan recently they were greeted by an ominous hoard of New Yorkers who displayed their disapproval with a barrage of jeers and obscene gestures.

A YouTube video of the event now has nearly five hundred thousand views, but don’t expect to find it on the network news.

(Search "Pro-McCain March in Manhattan." to see for yourself the vitriol of Obama’s zombies.)

College conservatives have reported the election has become clouded by an atmosphere of intimidation and open hostility on the nation’s college campuses – those hotbeds of liberal "tolerance."

It would appear the people on those campuses who profess to be the most tolerant are, in fact, the least.

They simply don’t walk the walk. Students are afraid to openly express their views favoring Republicans for fear of being shouted down, or worse.

The president of college democrats at one university stated, "We want to marginalize College Republicans as much as possible. …

"We want to make sure GW is an even more uncomfortable environment for Republicans and conservatives who seek to destroy our country."

Destroy the country? How stupid!

Conservatives want to insure its survival by preserving the institutions, morals and customs that have made this the greatest nation God ever gave mankind.

Now, here’s a shock. One poll conducted at a major university indicated 72 percent of students supported Barack Obama.

This is just one reason that reasonable political discourse is becoming so difficult everywhere.

Barack Obama has a history of stealing elections.

The mainstream media will not report this fact; however, it’s widely known Obama stole his first election by hiring a cadre of "experts" to challenge the hundreds of nomination signatures his opponents submitted. The opposition was eventually removed from the ballot leaving only the Messiah.

His election to the U.S. Senate was also suspicious because his chief Democrat opponent was forced to publish divorce papers that revealed his wife’s allegation that he had once threatened to kill her.

In the general election, his opponent, Republican Jack Ryan, had his divorce papers released by court order several months prior to the election which revealed he had tried to force his wife to go with him to sex clubs in Paris.

So, now it’s time to confront the uncomfortable truth about our country: John Edwards was right.

There are two Americas.

Not a rich one and a poor one as he so glibly stated, but a red one and a blue one. The left and the right will never reach agreement; one must survive. Calls for unity among Americans that transcend left and right are either naive or disingenuous. The two do not want the same America.

The left wants an America that is quasi-pacificist with cradle-to-grave socialism, eqalitarianism and secularism, none of which the right wants anything to do with.

Barack Obama told his supporters, "I need for you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face."

When he said this he gave them carte blanche to become political thugs and that’s just what his campaign is made up of. A gang of thugs.

So, should we be unfortunate enough to have him elected, you best get prepared for the advance of the thugocracy.
