Pain! Pills or platitudes?

I have come to appreciate the concept of pain.

Someone much smarter than me once said pain is necessary, because it lets you know something is wrong with your body and forces you to do something about it.

I hate to be in pain, but to live; I must stop or slow the pain.

I feel good when the doctor says I am doing well, but this doesn’t make the pain go away.

To stop pain requires action on my part.

Words can give me the incentive to work at feeling better, but usually some kind of medicine is needed.

I listen for the words that will make me feel better, but none are forthcoming.

This country is in pain and is being treated by snake doctors!!

Remember history and the era of traveling snake oil doctors.

Each had a magic potion which would cure whatever malady afflicted you.

These cure all potions never cured you they masked the pain, so you could die with a smile on your face.

Believe me, little bird; those times are still with us.

Now the snake doctors are working to save our country.

If this country doesn’t get up, dust off the lies and platitudes, we will lose our country.

Once, some years ago, I worked for a large, multi-national company.

A few times a year they had a company party.

This particular year they rented a whole large theme park, complete with a company sized bar-bq in a large building.

My wife and I were of course sitting with some close friends, people we didn’t see often enough, when my wife started to laugh.

Since I hadn’t said any thing funny, I looked my question.

"Well," she said, "if government agents walked in we would all be breaking the law!!"

"Just look at how people are seated.

"Black people with black people, Mexican people with people with Mexican heritage and Asians sitting to gather.

"If the company had seated these folks like this, outsiders would sue!!"

In spite of the government, people are more comfortable with people of their race, and who speak their language.

This is why all the talk that race will not play a part in the coming election, is foolish and misleading.

The government has tried to legislate morals and love of God out of our country; they will never get over peoples feeling for their own kind.

I once asked the question, if several people were drowning and your child was among them, who would you save first?

The abomination can win the election only if he can get the entire black vote, and a large majority of the people who don’t normally vote.

Right now, he is trying to start not so much the race card, but the victim card.

He wants you to share his pain, as a poor victim of big bad John.

While he feeds you platitudes,

This race is not about race, it will be decided by people who haven’t voted for a while.

So feel his pain and don’t vote to make his pain yours!!

This is JOHN’S VU!!
