I would like to thank all the Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, their leaders and parents of Troop 206 for all their help in posting the American flags all across Ferris on July 4 this year.

This is the fifth straight year the Scouts have performed this community service by placing more than 1,000 flags purchased by the Ferris Community of Shalom, Inc., a non-profit community support organization formed by the Methodist churches in Ferris in 2001.

We can not thank them enough for taking time out on this hot holiday to show their community support and patriotism.
