Welcome to the party!

Do you have any idea how the democratic or the republican parties originated? Just a hint, they didn’t suddenly come on the scene. I had an interesting thought.

Our country is being taken over by a new political party. It is not unpatriotic to be a democrat or a republican. It is un everything to be against the GREEN PARTY!

Let any politician or spokesman for a business speak out against any part of a movement which labels itself green and they are un-American, against everything a bunch of people who finally have a cause can use, fairly or unfairly to destroy them!

Is this a political party or not?

Don’t get me wrong, I love the idea of cleaning up our cities, lakes and rivers. I enjoy the efforts of the intelligent cleaning up of all the trash and air pollution. What I don’t like is the hanging of the color green on a law means it is good, or for the good of the people.

All of our political parties are lining up to join the green party! Soon our elections will only have candidates from the green party.

Think I am wrong? Just listen to new laws coming up.

All new legislation getting through our "fix everything in the first hundred days," Congress.

Beside pay raises, the few laws to even get discussed are new laws labeled green.

My favorite grouch is save the trees. Does any one realize trees are a renewable resource?

The lumber companies grow trees just like farmers grow crops and harvest them just like farmers harvest wheat, corn and cotton.

Because of the lumber companies, we have more trees in this country than at any other time in history.

When you hear of a major fire destroying thousands of acres of trees, it is on government land controlled by environmentalists, who allow uncontrolled growth, without roads, so fire equipment can’t run in a stop the destruction.

Next time someone says we need a new law to save the planet, or the world, look to see what we have to give up when this law is passed.

Believe me, little bird, like any other new law, because someone called it green doesn’t automatically make it good.

When our present multi-party system is replaced with a one party system, where you are unpatriotic, un-American if you are not a member, and a believer in every thing green is good for the world, no matter how it hurts you or your country.

All parties start out to save someone or something and get side tracked just like Japan, Germany and Italy and resulted in World War II.

Don’t have the green war!! Al Gore and his buddies will win it.

You will not be among the winners.

This of course is just JOHN’S VU!!
