2011 Ellis County Crops Tour
This year’s Crop Tour will be on Friday, July 1, 2011. We will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Avalon Gin and conclude with a Noon meal and program at the Waxahachie Creek Park Pavilion. Up to five (5) CEU’s will be offered and a tentative schedule will include the following stops: There is a $15 fee payable at registration.

10:00 a.m. Stop #4 IPT Mesquite/Brush Control-Will Hatler
10:30 a.m. Stop #5 Grain Sorghum Hybrid Performance Trail Wes Sullivan Farm
11:00 a.m. Stop #6 Transgenic Cotton Variety Trial – Steven Beakley Farm
11:30 a.m. Stop #7 TAMU State Sunflower Variety Trial – Beakley Farm

12:00 p.m. Lunch Waxahachie Creek Park – Helena Chemical
