Letters to the Editor: 'Do unto others'

I think you know me well enough to realize I am a fighter, or I wouldn’t have survived the cancer for the past 19 years.

We have always been taught to “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!”

That means don’t trespass and don’t dump your junk on someone else’s property.

When our rent house burned in December, it was such an ugly eye sore, we were determined to clean up the area including the shed, so hopefully it would not attract someone’s trash.

It was very costly to hire a demolition crew.

Yes, some lowlife dumped a large trailer load of tree trunks, limbs and old green couch and recliner last Saturday night or Sunday.

The trees were so heavy, our son was not able to move them, much less my husband and I who are both eighty plus.

Life in the rural area changed drastically after the water systems were installed. Some of Ellis County has become the “junk yard dog.”

We need your help to stop trespassing and illegal dumping by reporting suspicious activity.

If you have downed trees, they can be recycled at GWG Wood Group at 2797 Miller Road between Ferris and Wilmer for a nominal fee, 972-842-8996.

Thanks for your help; you may be the next victim.
