Simply Speaking: Agendas
If someone with "impressive credentials," of one kind or another approached any one or group of us, wanting to enlighten on our need for something referred to as "sustainable development," along with its agenda and programs, should we stop and listen or cover our ears and run for cover?
Of course, all of us have been told the story of how the squirrel puts up enough nuts to sustain it over the winter (though Bugs Bunny doesn’t)...and we do the same with snacks and favorite beverages to sustain us through the football or baseball game on TV. We...and the squirrel...know about "sustainable."
Development is another 11-lettered word we pretty-much have a grip on, whether it be referring to Marilyn Monroe or the Texas Rangers baseball club this season.
Agenda is one we also understand as possibly or usually negative, as in, "Wonder just what his agenda is?"
Putting all these words together and adding a certain number, we come up with Sustainable Development - Agenda 21 - : a real something-to-be-aware-of agenda, put together by our would-be masters.
Sustainable Development and its Agenda 21 was unveiled during the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in Argentina, which was commonly known as the Rio Earth Summit. More than 178 nations adopted Agenda 21 at that conference, pledging to evaluate progress in implementing its plan every five years.
George H. W. ("Read My Lips") Bush was the U.S. signatory and in 1993, Bill ("Slick Willie") Clinton established, by executive order, the President’s Council on Sustainable Development for the purpose of implementing Agenda 21 in the U.S., though Congress never voted for its implementation (evidently that does not matter).
Speaking of H.W. Bush, was not he the President who more or less introduced the New World Order as here...or coming...in one of his other early 90s speeches?
Of course, the manner in which Agenda 21 has been presented, strongly implies an impending U.S. and/or world crisis of some sort, to be met with government (think UN sanctioned) action, requiring the giving-up of some additional "little amount" of our God-given rights.
We should ingrain in our mind the huge differences of philosophy between the "sky is falling" UN Agenda 21 and its "Declaration of Human Rights" and our American Declaration of Independence. Our declaration says the purpose of government is to protect the natural or unalienable rights of EACH individual, while theirs says to control the individual for the greater good of a global community. Ours says, "That all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights...", while the UN says, "Rights and freedoms may in no case be contrary to the purposes and principles of the UN."
In short, traditionally, Americans have been taught and know you’re born with rights, government exists to protect them. You and the product of your labor belong to you.
On the other hand, the UN says government grants, restricts, or withdraws your rights according to its needs, You and the product of your labor belong to the community.
Seems like our government, more and more, has adopted the latter philosophy, even teaching much of it to our children and grandchildren. The so-called "Global Warming Caused By Humans" is one of the current lies being taught to them in virtually every course of study to which they are exposed.
Aristotle said, "All who have meditated on the art of governing mankind have been convinced that the fate of empires depends on the education of youth."
Incidentally, the Ellis County Tea Party guest speaker for March 19 will further expand on the Global Warming Hoax. Mark your calendar to attend.
May the great Yahweh of the Universe protect and sustain us through Yeshua the Christ, who sits on His Right Hand.
