Hawks making noise

The Hawks varsity basketball team are making some 2nd half noise in the district and closing in on a potential play-off appearance. They defeated Mansfield Lake Ridge at home in a see-saw game, but the Hawks prevailed late in the 4th period winning 56-49.

On Friday February 2, they traveled to Mansfield Summit HS and soundly defeated the Jaguars 61-32. This sets the Hawks up for a huge game against Lancaster on Tuesday February 6 at home. If Hawks can defeat Lancaster and Midlothian (2/9) at home, then pick up a last regular season win on the road at Mansfield Legacy (2/13), it will definitely make for an interesting scenario.

The Hawks are playing really good basketball right now and are capable of making a run! Remember it’s still cold outside, so come over to the warm ROHS Gym and watch some non-stop basketball action.
