On Jan. 9, 2018, I interviewed Todd Little, candidate for Ellis County Judge.
The following are excerpts from his web page as he directed me to review his page to obtain most of my answers.
Todd stated he has lived in Ellis County since 1971 and currently lives in Red Oak with his wife Dawn and three children and manages his family’s small business.
He understands the pressures of a small business and how big government and higher taxes effect small business owners and the citizens of Ellis County.
Todd was elected Mayor of Red Oak from 2000-2006. He served the citizens of Red Oak by working with the City Council to lower taxes, grant property tax relief for senior citizens and improve economic development.
He is a graduate of Baylor University with a degree in Financial Planning.
He is a risk manager and insurance representative for small to mid-sized companies.
At the conclusion of my interview, I asked the burning question of what he would do concerning the lavish pay raise bestowed upon County Judge Carol Bush? Todd’s response was he “would work with the Commissioner’s Court to give back some of the salary” and work with the Commissioner’s Court to set a new salary.
