NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF HUTCHINS PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION JUNE 28, 2018 MEETING
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Hutchins will hold a public hearing at 6 PM on Thursday, June 28, 2018 in the Council Chambers at 321 N Main. The meeting will be for consideration of the following items.
Amending the zoning ordinance of the City of Hutchins;
Section 33 Off Street Parking And Loading Requirements, 33.2 Residential Districts – Special Off Street Parking Provisions, A. Definitions, Limited Parking, By Deleting a. Asphalt as approved by the City.
33.3 Non Residential And MF Districts – Special Off Street Parking Provisions, C., By Deleting or asphalt and Alternative parking and vehicle storage areas and/or surfaces may be approved by Specific Use Permit (SUP).
Section 36 Fencing, Walls and Screening Requirements, 36.2 Screening Of Non Residential, Multifamily Areas And Manufactured/Mobile Home Parks, A, By Adding #5 In the event that Light Industrial (LI), Heavy Industrial (HI), or Logistics Port B (LPB) districts abut a residential district a masonry screening wall of not less than twelve (12) feet in height must be constructed and maintained along the abutting property lines by the non-residential use to provide a visual and noise barrier between the uses.
Section 41 Exterior Construction Standards, 41.2 Construction Standards, By adding a subsection C. Single Family Residential Architectural Standards (regulating the repetition of the front façade of new homes).
