“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” – II Corinthians 5:17
When a human baby is born he is pure in mind and spirit even though he is born in sin inherited from his forefathers, never the less he has no past, only the future because he is brand new. So it is when one is born of the Spirit, a spiritual man is birthed, also with no past, only the present, looking toward the future. As it was for Adam waking up in the garden, so it is for the believer, one awakens to the realm of a new creation, a supernatural kingdom in which to live.
The entrance into the life of the Spirit in the Kingdom of God is the new birth in which the believer is intended to live in an atmosphere of supernatural possibilities brought about by his new found gift of faith. No longer bound to human frailties and impossible situations, all things become possible by believing the promises of God. Signs, miracles and wonders become a part of his daily life as he traverses the realm of the spiritual kingdom led by the Holy Spirit, setting up for him divine appointments of grace and mercy. As Jesus led His twelve disciples throughout the land, healing the sick, setting the captives free and even raising the dead, so will He also lead you as He trains you to become a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Like a new born baby all things are new and exciting in this world brought down from the portals of Heaven, a whole new world view is planted in the hearts of born again believers as they begin to see as God sees, through the eyes of the Spirit. It no longer matters what government you live under, whether dictator or President you are now an ambassador from another realm, a monarchy ruled by the King of all kings and Lord over all of creation. Your provision comes directly from the throne of God so that whatever the world economy experiences it will not effect you, being a son of the King.
“Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” – I Peter 2:1-5
