“In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ.” – Colossians 2:11
In the previous scripture, the apostle Paul states that we are complete in Him who is the Head, meaning that we have all things given to us, we have been washed in His blood, our sins are gone, our fleshly heart has been circumcised and as we will see, we are free from man’s religious laws and commandments.
We have been taught for centuries that we are just old sinners, saved by grace, “I’m not perfect, just forgiven.”
A lie from the devil and the religious system wanting to hold you in bondage because you are unworthy. If you are a born-again believer in Christ you have been made perfect by His blood, complete and made a saint.
The Greek word for complete… is complete. You are the very righteousness of God, able to come before the throne of the Most High through the shed blood of the Son of God.
It just doesn’t get any better than this, that a poor sinful being, dead in his trespasses and sins can be resurrected into a “New Creation,” transformed into a supernatural heavenly being from a worm to a butterfly. A miraculous metamorphosis has occurred in our lives as Christ has circumcised us and removed our fleshly heart and given us a spiritual one. Praise be to God.
“Therefor,e if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.” – II Corinthians 5:17
