If we attempt to fight a spiritual battle in the ways of the flesh it will lead to rebellion, arguments, strife, discord, bitterness, debates, opinions, disobedience, quarrelling, resentment, hatred, hostility, discourtesy, battle for control (a Jezebel spirit), offence (shallowness), racism, all these are contrary to the ways of the God and the Spirit.
These conflicts will never have resolve until those involved repent and submit to God. We cannot achieve victory in a spiritual battle warring in the ways of the flesh. We must learn and understand true Christians are not moved by the flesh, but by the Spirit.
What is a Jezebel spirit?
A Jezebel is a spirit of rebellion toward God, self-centered, devious and controlling that takes control of an individual, and will likewise take control of society one person at a time. This is evident by what is taking place in our society today, individuals battling for control by whatever means necessary to achieve their selfish and egotistical goals believing they are above others.
Consider equality and man’s defiance toward God creating a society without God, creating society of-all things equal. Man has developed a society of gender equality, but God created and established gender responsibility having all things in their proper order. Within God’s order, we must surrender to the word of God, not to the ways of man contrary to God.
Equality is not how we force ourselves on others or on society to become equal separating ourselves from God, but how we live according to the Word of God. I speak to the body of Christ and not to the world. Equality with God comes only in our faith toward God; we all have equal right to obey God, and to receive salvation. Salvation is for all, “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one (spirit) in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28). Galatians 3:15-28 refers to salvation, not gender equality. As long as we live in this flesh, we have a responsibility to the gender of our flesh.
The Word of God makes clear gender duties and responsibilities through instructions and directives in God’s word. When we step outside of God’s order we separate ourselves from God and walk in rebellion living according to the world. Rebellion is evident by what is taking place in the world today, chaos and confusion, gender competing against gender, race against race, a battle for racial control, struggling to gratify ones opinion and desires by which comes strife and animosity.
Consider this day, have we notice a change in this generation compared to the generation 40 years ago? Today we see the name of Jesus Christ being slandered, mocked, rejected and abused more than ever. The name of Jesus is being removed from society as it was 2000 years ago, and those initiating this will soon put to death those that refuse to deny Christ. Countless believers have disgraced Christ by putting him to an open shame by doing despite to the Spirit of Grace. False doctrines have gripped many, even doctrines of wealth and prosperity leading to greed knowing God does not desire us to be wealthy and God does not desire us to be poor, God desires us to be content. “Keep your lives free from the love of money, be content with what you have, because God has said, never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5 and Philippians 4:11).
God’s word says he will never leave us nor forsake us, but out of rebellion many forsake God. Know this God will not beg us to return to him when we no longer desire to serve him and depart from the faith, that separation is our free will choice. However, even though we choose to separate ourselves from God, He will continue to draw those to Himself by the Spirit until the second coming of Christ.
Do not deceive yourselves; we must obey the Spirit and learn the truth of Grace and salvation. There are doctrines that teach once saved always saved and those accepting these doctrines have been deceived into believing they are justified to continue in willful sin, fulfilling their lusts, sinful and worldly desires without consequence. Christ died once for sin that we should no longer serve sin. Those that follow these doctrines are deceiving only their selves (Hebrews 10:26-31 and Revelations 3:5).
The end of society as we once knew it is upon us, we must prepare ourselves for the evil day that has come. All that has been written concerning this day is being fulfilled and there is nothing anyone can do to stop it. That which has been ordained from the beginning will come to pass regardless of how we believe. Repent and prepare yourselves, the evil day has arrived.
