The Ferris Public Library is happy to help you with your child’s Ferris ISD on-line registration Skyward Family Access. For this process we are not requiring a library membership or guest pass to use the public access computers. You will need to know your login ID and your password. You can contact Student Support Services at familyaccess@ferrisisd.org or call 972-544-3858 to obtain this information.

We also have Ferris ISD school supply lists available at no charge.

The library’s Annual Book Sale has started. Come by and take advantage of great prices for books and DVDs. We have lowered the prices on all items. Books now only $1.00, DVDs $2.00 each. Stop in for great deals!

New Books – “Anything Is Possible” by Elizabeth Strout, “Gwendy’s Button Box” by Stephen King, “It’s Always the Husband” by Michele Campbell, and “Astrophysics for People in a Hurry” (Dewey 523) by Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Fun Holiday – On August 19, 1988, President Ronald Reagan issued a Proclamation 5847 creating National Senior Citizens Day to be August 21. On this day, we are encouraged to recognize and show appreciation for the value and contribution of our senior citizens. If you are a senior citizen, enjoy your day any way you desire. After all, this is your day!
