Maypearl gets taken apart at home 63-14 by 9-0 Sunnyvale


MAYPEARL – The Maypearl Panthers were ripped 63-14 in Friday’s district game by the visiting Sunnyvale Raiders.

The Raiders (9-0, 6-0) will now prepare for their meeting with the Kemp Yellowjackets. The Yellowjackets come into the 3A-1 Region II District 6 challenge with a 8-3, 5-3 record. In their last game, Kemp obliterated Scurry-Rosser, 78-6, at home.

Maypearl now sports a 5-4, 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison for a 3A-1 Region II District 6 challenge on Thursday, November 3. Maypearl will face a Trojans team coming off a 50-43 district win over Grandview. Madison’s record now stands at 10-1, 7-1.
